About the Event
MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center Foundation’s annual gala, Dancing for Our Stars (DFOS), has become one of the hottest philanthropic events in Long Beach. Presented by the Don Temple Family Charitable Foundation, the event benefits the comprehensive mission and benefit areas at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach and features several dancers from the community who have a personal connection to one of the areas of care at our hospitals. Supporters and event attendees have an opportunity to support their favorite courageous and compassionate dancer(s) by “voting with their dollars” prior to and during the live event as dancers vie for the coveted DFOS Champion Crystal Award!

Torin Cunningham, MD & Carol Cunningham, NP
Occupations: Dr. Cunningham is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and Medical Director of the Orthopedic Center at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital, and Carol is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Miller Children's & Women's Hospital.
