The MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute at Long Beach Medical Center partners with the Children's Heart Institute at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women's Hospital Long Beach to provide care for adult patients with congenital or acquired heart disease.
The Children's Heart Institute is one of only a few programs in Southern California to offer comprehensive cardiac care to patients of all ages.
Uniquely Suited to Care for All Ages
Not all congenital heart defects present themselves during childhood. In some instances, a congenital heart defect isn't discovered until someone has reached adulthood. Our care team is able to treat a congenital heart defect no matter how old the patient is at the time of diagnosis.
