Vu H Le, MD

Dr. Le is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in adult and pediatric spine surgery procedures with NewportCare Medical Group with locations in the Long Beach and Newport Beach. He trained with both renowned orthopedic spine and neurosurgery faculty, most notably Dr. Frank Eismont for cervical spine disorders, and Dr. Harry Shufflebarger, a leader in the field of pediatric scoliosis.

His clinical interests include degenerative, traumatic, infectious, deformity, and tumor disorders of the spine, as well as minimally invasive spinal surgery

He received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine, was voted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society and graduated with Cum Laude honors. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at UCI Medical Center.  He then completed his fellowship in adult & pediatric spinal surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and Holtz Children’s Hospital.  He trained with both renowned spine and neurosurgery faculty, most notably Dr. Frank Eismont for cervical spine disorders, and Dr. Harry Shufflebarger, a leader in the field of pediatric scoliosis.  He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Le prides himself in treating every patient like family. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter playing sports, such as tennis and basketball.
