R. Keone Ah San is a certified Physician Assistant. He has more than a decade of clinical experience, with the majority of those years working for one of the busiest Endocrine/Renal clinics in Southern California. As a result, he has extensive experience in seeing Internal Medicine, Endocrine, and Renal patients.
Growing up in Hawaii, he developed an early interest in sports and nutrition. This helped influence his decision to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Oregon, Eugene. Remembering how his childhood pediatrician could always make him feel better, he went on to earn a Masters in Medical Science from the Department of Family Medicine/Physician Assistant Program at Emory School of Medicine in Decatur, Georgia. Today, he enjoys being able to play his part in helping to improve the quality of his patients’ lives and, just like his childhood pediatrician did for him, make them feel better.

Ryan is great. The one thing I didn't like about the overall experience is that I completed all the questionaires the first time I was asked to yet I still received almost daily notices that I needed to complete forms. Mostly just annoying but also very inefficient.

He spoke directly to me, listened to me, looked at my file and medical history and then discussed with me what he believed would help me and then reviewed with me what to look for in the coming days and what I should be feeling. He also said if In the next few days it didn’t go as we hoped and/or my symptoms worsen what I should do and where I should go.

Lobby staff were polite and cordial. Medical staff was professional and prompt. Office visit was thorough and the follow up will hopefully provide a resolution.
