Ruthann Devera, M.D., is a board-certified OB/GYN with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Coming from a family of physicians, and seeing her father enjoy his career as a physician, Dr. Devera was influenced to follow in his footsteps, thus beginning a career in the field of medicine. Dr. Devera grew up in Long Beach, California, and partners with local non-profit organizations. She has strong community ties and strives to have a positive impact through every patient encounter.

Dr. Devera is great! She did my ovary removal and did such a great job. She even called me a day before the surgery to see if I had any questions. I had surgeries before and no other Doctor’s that I’ve had ever called me a day before surgery. She has been my gynecologist for awhile now and she’s knowledgeable and takes her time answering your question. I never felt rushed. I already recommend her to family and friends because I know she’ll take good care of them.

I briefly met Dr. Devera during my first pregnancy when I delivered my baby girl. She was friendly and memorable! So glad to gotten to have her around again, now for my second pregnancy. It's been rough feeling like I always have new OBs every month or so since I do not often see the same ones every appointment.. but I'm happy to see Dr. Devera at the current office I go to and to see a familiar face who knows my history and knows even details about me and who I am!
