Dr. Patricia Faraz is a board-certified physician and a fellow of American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She earned her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago.
She specializes in general and high-risk obstetrics care and delivery, as well as routine gynecologic exams and hormonal management of post-menopausal women, gynecological procedures such as endometrial ablations and laparoscopic hysterectomies. Dr. Faraz is an excellent surgeon and a proponent of minimally invasive surgical techniques of gynecological disorders.

Dr. Faraz is Truly ONE OF A KINDI’m so happy to finally share how amazing Dr. Faraz is. She has been there for me through two ectopic pregnancies and now during my pregnancy after IVF. From the start, she has shown genuine care and compassion. With my ectopics, she saw me right away, took quick action, and performed my surgeries herself. She even called afterward to check on me, which meant so much. Now, being pregnant, I feel truly blessed to have her as my OBGYN. She is kind, thorough, and truly one of the best doctors out there. I'm so glad that I chose Dr. Faraz for my surgery. I put it off for so long that I didn't think I could go through with it. That is until I visited Dr. Faraz and right away she asked the right questions as well as told me her approach to fix me! The surgery took a bit longer than expected but I trusted and had talked with Dr .Faraz many times. I just saw her for my 1 year check and things are great. So happy to have had her and that I took the advice of 2 other doctors. She has a great wit about her and is good with patients like me! And, her staff is very accommodating to appointments and care.

I just had my first baby, cared for and delivered by Dr. Faraz, and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with her and her office staff. I had disabling anxiety through my pregnancy (especially about child birth) and because of this, I really wanted a planned C-section. Although my baby was measuring large, Dr. Faraz still encouraged me to attempt vaginal childbirth but respected my decision and wishes. My birth and recovery went smoothly thanks to Dr. Faraz and her team at Saddleback Hospital. I’ll be forever grateful to her for bringing my baby angel into this world!

This was a second opinion visit. Dr. Faraz listened to my symptoms and I finally felt heard (I suffer from chronic pelvic pain and bleeding). After she did her clinical assessment she explained the thought process behind possible next steps. She answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. I feel very comfortable with her, which isn’t something I’ve been able to say about other OB-GYNs. Like the check-in process, the checkout process was super smooth thanks to Maria. I loved my visit today and I finally don’t dread going to a gynecologist’s office!

Best in the PracticeDr Faraz has been my OB for over 10 yrs. She recently delivered our baby girl and now we are trying for our second child. She is by far the best in her field. She has a passion for her practice. Her bed side manners are excellent. She’s compassionate and caring. Her staff and her are always available and get back to you on a timely manner. Her and her office feel like family. She has become a big part of lives and I’ve recommended many women to her and they have all been pleased with the care they have received for her.

Dr. Faraz has been my OB since moving to Southern California. Although she did not deliver my children because they were born before I moved here I completely trust her with my healthcare. She and her staff are very helpful, supportive, and caring. I love her new office in Rancho Mission Viejo, it's very modern, clean with easy parking. I don't have any pics to post because I feel like it's a privacy thing being that it's a medical facility. But trust me she's a great doctor if you're looking for one!

Horrible experience this coming from a person who had 3 kids and of senior years. It was my annual visit never been so painful in my entire life . She said it's due to menopause and dryness . That is total BS . Clearly did not know what she was doing or terrible at it. I just saw a new doctor and never felt a thing night and day. This lady is rude , unprofessional and clearly does not know what she is doing . I'm amazed at the star rating people have put she is the worst.

Recently told I have Adenomyosis & before I'm even considered to get a hysterectomy I need to be placed on an IUD, which I was extremely adamant on NOT doing; as all my other measures with birth control haven't stopped my issues.I also read in my after summary notes I need to bring my husband in for his consent alongside a letter from my psychologist that deems me acceptable for a hysterectomy.I've never felt so defeated in my life over this.

very rushed and felt like I couldn’t ask her any questions to avoid inconveniencing her. Very aggressive about weight loss, pointed to my drink and said if I wanted to lose weight I shouldn’t be drinking that. When asked about my sexual history, she made very shaming comments. I remember seeing her for a Pap smear and complaining about how painful it is, she told me if I thought this was painful I wouldn’t be able to handle an IUD which I expressed that I wanted to get. Going to the doctor is stressful as it is. But when the doctor is just trying to get through the appointment and is visibly annoyed at a patients concerns while also shaming them, makes the experience much worse.

She delivered my last child and I was injured internally due to negligence of her not paying any attention to me after my son was delivered and handed to nurses on site. A "clamp" like tool that had held me open during delivery went inside and cut me right through.She NEVER followed up with me after I was discharged and when I called to make future appointments she no longer accepted my insurance. It's been 5 years and still nothing from her end!Good luck to those who would like to use her as their OB

I was having UTI symptoms, but no gyno could figure it out. My current gyno was o vacation, so they referred me to Parastoo P Faraz-Eslami. I thought, why not get a second opinion? My mistake. Had to wait 45 minutes to see her, then she asks me to change, while SHES STILL IN THE ROOM. I look at her like what the? She throws the napkin at me, and says "I don't have all day" "I'd like to go home" as it was currently 4:35. I have never felt so uncomfortable before in my life, I decided to be nice as I was alone, and no one was around. She made me uncomfortable the whole time, and I bled after she did the pap smear. She could have cared less, she just wanted to get off on time. I did let my current gyno, who referred me to her, know what happened and how unprofessional this was. I will be following up with a formal compliant with my insurance, memorial care, and with her!
