A native Californian, Dr. Chang grew up in Orange County and is excited to be back serving his hometown communities. He credits a college job working in his pediatrician’s office as the inspiration for becoming a physician. He enjoyed working in Pediatrics, but ultimately chose Family Medicine because he wanted to build a long-term relationship with his patients and watch them grow.
I believe doctors are meant to be a partner in their patients’ health; a team that will work together to optimize the patient’s well-being. I encourage my patients to be well-informed and active members in their own health care team. While caring for them, I’ll help them understand primary disease prevention, disease processes and managements available. Plus, I’m a good listener and I encourage questions.
When not in the office, Dr. Chang enjoys swimming, hiking, and cycling activities. He also likes to read science fiction, watch movies, go bowling, and tryout new restaurants.

He is the best bedside manner and he knows his patience so well he’s really good about ruling out different hypothesis when there’s an issue trying out different tests and push pushing for approval when he thinks that something should be approved. He’s not condescending he doesn’t ignore your concerns. He’s a great listener and he’s smart. I wouldn’t want any other doctor right now. I also love the memorial care app. I love being able to contact him when I have a concern or schedule an appointment or see my results between the services at memorial care provides as as well as as the talented Dr. Chang that’s a great combination.

I think Dr chang is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had as a primary physician he’s kind he always listens to what you have to say, and I’ve been with them a lot of years.

He’s never in a rush and gets things done in a timely manner. I couldn’t dream of seeing another provider as my PCP again. No one would live up to the quality of care he provides. When your doctor genuinely cares about your whole health, it makes a difference.
