Every woman is unique, each with a different story and hopes for the future. As your doctor, my goal is to provide high-quality care that is compassionate and personalized, while addressing the special challenges women may face.

Miao Crystal Yu, MD enjoys caring for women from all different ages and backgrounds and is passionate about becoming an advocate for their health. She has extensively cared for women with a history of high-risk pregnancies, abnormal pap smears and chronic pelvic pain.  She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Yu received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, where she graduated with honors.  She earned her medical degree at University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her training at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. 

She is a new resident of the Orange County area and enjoys running, yoga and spending time with her family.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Yu and her team. From the very first appointment, Dr. Yu made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. She takes the time to listen, answers questions thoroughly, and never makes you feel rushed. Her compassion and professionalism truly stand out, especially during moments that can feel overwhelming or emotional. Dr. Yu is incredibly knowledgeable and explains everything clearly, which helped me feel confident and supported in my care. She has a calming presence and approaches each visit with empathy and understanding, making a difficult process feel much more manageable. I also want to highlight her medical assistant, Baljit, who is absolutely amazing. She is so warm, compassionate, and kind, and immediately makes you feel comfortable and supported. Her gentle demeanor and genuine care truly make a difference and complement Dr. Yu’s care perfectly. I am truly grateful for Dr. Yu and Baljit and would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a team that is not only highly skilled, but also deeply compassionate and invested in their patients’ well-being.
