Merilee M Vance, CNM

Merilee Vance grew up in southern California as well as Montana. She chose to pursue her career as a certified nurse midwife (CNM) because she has a passion for women’s health and the birthing process. 

“I wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse but once I found out I could be a nurse-midwife, I jumped on the opportunity. I love empowering women to make the best decisions for themselves while they are in labor, and I’m so excited to grow in my practice as a CNM.”

Merilee says she loves to listen and find out what her patients are passionate about. “I want my patients’ pregnancy and birth story to be one they are proud of so, I’ll do whatever I can to help.”

Merilee was an exchange student in the Netherlands in high school and can understand--and have--a basic conversation in Dutch. In her free time, she says she “Loves the Dodgers, going to concerts, and anything Disney--I’m a Disnerd at heart.” In addition, Merilee volunteers on the Board of Directors at Nevus Outreach, a non-profit organization.
