About
Lisa Crane, MD, is a board-certified physician and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), who has devoted her career to the well-being of women and youth and has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics.
Dr. Crane graduated cum laude from Howard University, where she received a B.S. in microbiology and was elected to the Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. She earned her M.D. from the University of Rochester in New York. While a medical student there, she published research involving resistance in an anti-leukemia agent Ara-C.
Following an internship in internal medicine at Los Angeles County–USC Medical Center, Dr. Crane completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University in Washington DC, where she was a chief resident.
Before moving to Orange County, Dr. Crane opened a private practice in the Inland Empire. There she was active in the OB/GYN community, supervising OB/GYN residents, and serving as vice-chairman of the OB/GYN Department at Parkview and Riverside Community Hospitals.
In addition to volunteering as camp doctor at a local camp for underprivileged youths, Dr. Crane has donated her services to medical missions to Nicaragua, Nigeria, and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Crane was lovely. Most people can agree that Pap smears aren’t comfortable - I had tried three times 3 times with other physicians and was unable to get a sample because I was too tense. The reason I was finally able to complete a Pap smear with Dr Crane is that she immediately established rapport, normalized my apprehension, and was immensely communicative during the sample collection. I will absolutely prioritize going back to Dr Crane.

Dr Crane is great. The overall experience needs work. The exam rooms are MUCH too cold especially when waiting nearly naked for 45 minutes. The MA told me that the rooms are kept cold to keep them sterile. Someone needs to educate her. Also, the paper gowns and drapes are terrible. Please switch to cloth. I appreciate being able to register for the appointment in advance-big time saver.

Dr. Crane was amazing, super informative and genuinely cared about my health and well being. Although, the front desk ladies were not very pleasant. I interacted with 2 of them and none of them had the decency to make eye contact with me. I thought it was just me because I am a younger woman but it seemed they served the same horrible customer service to every patient that walked in. At one point all they cared about was what they were getting for lunch. Seemed as if I was an inconvenience for them. If it wasn’t for Dr. Crane I would never step back into that office.
