About

Dr. Leslie Edrich is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in diseases of the breast at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

He received his medical degree from the New York University Medical School and began his residency in general surgery at the NYU School of Medicine, Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Edrich completed his residency at the University of California, Irvine when he moved to California.

Educating patients is a role he takes seriously, “Any decision will be my patient’s choice,” says Dr. Edrich. “They are the most important member of the team.  My job is to ensure they understand why surgery may be recommended, understand the risks involved and have the information to make the best decision for themselves.”

Dr. Edrich and his wife have two daughters who play an instrumental role in the family. He and his wife are cooking enthusiasts who love trying new foods, cooking techniques and the laughs that come from sharing a meal. They enjoy traveling and expect to do more with their daughters away at universities.
