Jonathan M Maynard, MD

Jonathan Maynard, MD earned his medical degree at New York Medical College and completed his pediatric residency training at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. He is a board certified in pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Maynard is a California native, growing up in Manhattan Beach, CA in Los Angeles, California. His mother, a child development and parenting educator, played a large role in inspiring Dr. Maynard’s enjoyment in interacting with and caring for children. His father, an aerospace engineer, instilled in him with a joy for learning and discovery. Choosing to specialize in pediatrics was an easy decision for Dr. Maynard, as he enjoys the challenge of adapting to the ever-changing needs of each child and their family, and the satisfaction of seeing his patients grow and thrive into healthy adults. In addition to English, Dr. Maynard is proficient in spoken and written Spanish.

In his free time, Dr. Maynard enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons, going to church, hiking, camping, reading, scuba diving, and swing dancing.
