I have always loved children, and hated feeling helpless when I saw a sick child. As a board certified, primary care Pediatrician, I have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
Dr. Posner has always believed in making a difference. For over 10 years, she has volunteered with various organizations in the US and Dominican Republic; mentoring and educating children and parents on different health topics and other projects.
Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and snowboarding.

She was our daughter’s first pediatrician before my job changed insurances. We were bummed we didnt have her anymore but recently we changed back and we called customer service to ask to have her as our daughters pediatrician again. My daughter absolutely loves her dr and every visit we have with her is always a great one. Shes the only one my daughter hasnt thrown a fit or tantrum when getting exams done on her. Great pediatrician!I like that they are always punctual for our appointments, we never have to wait long in the lobby. We can take our time gathering our belongings or soothing a crying baby in the patient room without being rushed out. They're always willing to answer as many questions as we have. And I love that they wrote our daughter's name with a happy face on the patient table paper that was so sweet!

Christopher Marple was our nurse. He was so lively, interactive with my toddler, and made us feel comfortable. This was extremely reassuring since my son was a little nervous. Dr. Posner is fabulous: she’s prompt, she’s efficient, she communicates easily on My Chart! The nurse at today’s visit was very stand off-ish and I’m not sure if it was because she was having a bad day and we were the last visit of the day, but my toddler was wriggling around and I clearly needed some assistance (I needed to step on the scale by myself so she could subtract and figure out his weight) and she just stood there and repeated her directions of “stand on the scale” when I was trying to not get my toddler to cling to me to complete the task. It was just one of those situations where usually the nurse or staff are kid-friendly and try to alleviate the tense situation. Instead, I had to give her a verbal cue and ask “Could you help stand with him so I can go on the scale?” I am a pretty fair person (I’m a high school English teacher —very patient) so this is why I need to note this in feedback; I thought it was so odd that she saw a mom and toddler struggling but wasn’t inclined to help as a nurse. Once we saw Dr. Posner, though, she was very kind and was fast acting while still offering soothing conversation to get through the things she needed to check for during the well visit and even offered my son a sticker afterwards —that’s how it should be and I am glad she is our doctor!

I changed insurance network just to have Doctor Posner to be my baby’s primary Doctor. Due to the fact that she loves my baby and gave good advices how to take care my baby. As a mom with an infant with so many concerns, busy work schedules all that added more worries when baby spitting up, not taking enough breast milk/formula, not pooping for days. It worried me so much but when seeing Dr. Posner my worries disappeared as she thoroughly explained and checked my baby’s development stages and it’s normal that it would eventually going away. She’s right!!! My baby isn’t spitting up and she gains weights and becomes taller. All that stress of having a new born and work schedule it’s a lot of pressure. I don’t have any doubt of the level of expertise she has toward babies/children. I’m glad my friend has recommended Dr Posner and I will definitely continuous to recommend Dr Posner.

The visit was great! My whole day was planned around getting my daughter to the doctor to look in her eyes. With the ability to book an appointment through MyChart and the open availability exceeded my expectations of what could be done virtually. She rushed my son‘s annual physical. She did not go through the litany of questions that a pediatrician would normally go through during an annual visit, nor did she review the questionnaire I spent 15 minutes filling out prior to the visit. It felt like a quick urgent care visit. It was so uncomfortable. It’s very unfortunate.

My experience with Dr. Posner was unfortunately poor. I took my daughter, who is 17 and at a strange age where she is practically an adult but an adult doctor won’t see her, for a checkup due to some possible hormonal imbalance - this was suggested to be done by her therapist.Dr. Posner wouldn’t order an add on test I asked for or even a reflex. Meaning I would have to come in for lab draws twice if any tests were off. Extra out of pocket charge. I also asked to prescribe my daughter BCP which we discussed during the appointment. She wouldn’t do it unless my daughter came in again. Again - extra charge. I asked if it’s okay that my daughter calls her to discuss the prescription as follow up. She said no, we’d have to come in again. Needless to say I won’t waste my time going to Dr. Posner again. Might be great with little kids for all I know, but to me this is needless delaying of care for a teen with mental health issues that might be due to a simple thyroid disorder.
