Ghe Rosales-Vong, MD, always knew he wanted to specialize in family medicine. He loves the opportunity to work with diverse patients on a variety of medical issues. After all, what other medical specialty might allow a doctor to see a pregnant woman, a newborn, an adult, inject a knee, and help someone quit smoking – all in the same day.

Dr. Rosales-Vong derives great satisfaction knowing that by working together, he can help his patients reach goals and improve their health. When reviewing test results, he reminds his patients that any improvements in their health reflects the hard work they’ve done at home. He especially enjoys seeing the look of pride and accomplishment on their faces when they recognize they can make a difference.

I want my patients to know I am here to help them live a healthier, happier life, whether it is maintaining healthy habits, quitting smoking, mental health, or family planning.

Dr. Rosales-Vong grew up in Sunnyvale, CA, near San Jose. He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota, earning his degree in 2014. Returning to California, he completed a Family Residency program at the University of California, Irvine, which included a special track of study emphasizing medical education for the Latino community. Dr. Rosales-Vong speaks fluent Spanish as well as conversational Cantonese Chinese.

When Dr. Rosales-Vong is away from the office, he likes to relax with his family. He especially enjoys spending time with his kids, either teaching and introducing them to new things or being out in nature together. An NBA fan, he enjoys watching basketball and, whenever possible, practicing his own hoop skills.
