According to Dan Nguyen, ANP “I chose a career in medicine because it gives me joy to provide something essential and important to a person I have never met before. I chose primary care because gives me the opportunity to develop relationships with patients and get to know them on a deeper level.”

Dan, who pronounces her name “Dawn,” grew up in Vietnam and then came to the U.S. when she was twelve years of age. She speaks Vietnamese fluently. “I am most satisfied professionally when I see patients healed from their ailments and making good progress towards better health,” she says. “I want patients to know that I care for them as if they were my own family.”

Dan’s hobbies include gardening, cooking, and swimming.
