About
Growing up locally in Paramount, CA, Briana Livingston, MD, is thrilled to be joining MemorialCare Medical Group in Long Beach. Dr. Livingston finds her personal relationships with patients deeply rewarding and enjoys guiding them through the many experiences unique to women.
I have a passion for women's health as it encompasses all of the things I love, including everything from obstetrics to surgery, while allowing me to have continuity with my patients and advocate for their needs.
As an OB/GYN, she has a particular talent and interest in laparoscopy and the treatment of gynecologic conditions with minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Livingston also specializes in a range of gynecologic conditions including abnormal bleeding, fibroids and endometriosis. Her scope includes patients from adolescence through menopause. She is a graduate of UCLA and UC Irvine School of Medicine and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UC Irvine where she received the award for Excellence in Obstetrics during her final chief year of training.
In her free time, Dr. Livingston enjoys traveling around the world, camping and outdoors, and trying new local cuisine. She loves to spend time with her husband Nick and their dog Apollo and their kitten Tux.

This was the first time in I’m not sure how long, that I actually felt heard by a doctor. She listened and asked questions that she waited to hear the answers to. And instead of just prescribing medication she’s actually going to have tests done to determine what is going on. I came to Dr. Livingston looking for a new women's health focused doctor as I have had some concerns & I like to stay on top of my health. After being unsatisfied by my previous primary care providers due to always feeling rushed and dismissed, I am really glad to have found Dr. Livingston. The appointment did not feel rushed, she asked many questions and also listened to my concerns seriously. She is very knowledgeable and gave feedback on what could be done / tested on my concerns & what wouldn't be helpful, and she also help set up any follow up tests necessary. My only wish is that it's easier to find appointment availability as I had to book months ahead, but I think that speaks to how great she is! Although it was just my first appointment, I'm looking forward to working with Dr. Livingston as I feel like she genuinely cares and will take care of her patients! Also front desk is efficient & friendly even though they were very busy. It was easy to book other appointments with the front desk.
