Bianca Marcella Rivas, M.D., M.B.A. earned her undergraduate degree at the California State University, Northridge, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She received her Medical Degree and a Master’s of Business Administration at the University of California, Irvine. She completed her residency training at the prestigious University of California, Irvine. During her residency training, she served as the Chief of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Dr. Rivas was born and raised in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles County. Her parents are Salvadoran immigrants who worked hard to raise her and her three sisters, who are all now first-generation college graduates and lead professional careers. Her family’s struggles and successes inspired her to dedicate herself to serving her community and providing women of color with compassionate and equitable care. She completed a dual medical and business degree focused on empowering the Latin patient population and improving health outcomes for vulnerable patients. She is a native and fluent Spanish Speaker.

She is passionate about providing evidence-based full spectrum Obstetrics and Gynecology services for all stages of a woman’s life, including pregnancy options counseling, family planning services, high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, infertility support and menopause support.

In her spare time, Dr. Rivas enjoys spending time with her family, husband and dog. She also enjoys traveling, dancing, mentoring, reproductive rights advocacy and the outdoors.

Listened carefully and read my notes on history of melanoma and chronic inflamation. Respectful, gentle. Made exam much easier than I expected. Requested and got authorizations with specialists within a day. The office was immaculate and all assistants competent. Very grateful for the success of yesterday’s appointment.
