Overview
“System II to improve quality of life and reduce heart failure related symptoms and events in patients with heart failure with preserved (HFpEF) or mildly-reduced ejection fraction (HFmrEF) with elevated left atrial pressure, who remain symptomatic despite standard Guideline Directed Medical Therapy”
The purpose of this study is to look at an investigational treatment for heart failure symptoms. This study involves the use of medical device called the Corvia Atrial Shunt System that will be permanently implanted in the heart and is designed to reduce the increased pressure.
