A message from Hospital and Foundation Leadership

We hope that you appreciate the brief snapshot of our hospitals in 2024. It is a small way for us to say thank you for investing in our efforts of uplifting the health and well-being of our communities. You are making a difference.

Gary and Dawna DeLong

Gary DeLong, current chair of the Long Beach Medical Center Foundation board, and his wife Dawna, recently added a provision in their estate plan to remember our hospitals.

An easy and powerful way to support our MemorialCare Long Beach hospitals is by designating the Memorial Medical Center Foundation as the partial or full beneficiary of your will or trust. When you do, you create a meaningful legacy of support.

Long Beach Medical Center Foundation

In 1960, visionaries and philanthropic members of Long Beach communities expanded Seaside Hospital and moved it to a new location with a new name - now called MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach. Future vision and philanthropy continue to be key elements in keeping high-quality healthcare close to home.

Since 1961, we have been a trusted partner with those in our community to ensure that excellence in health care is available right at home. We do this by supporting patient programs, clinical research, education, medical equipment and capital expansion at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women’s Hospital Long Beach.

Long Beach Medical Center Foundation has partnered with hundreds of donors and organizations to raise the funds necessary to provide "that extra measure of care" to those seeking care on our campus. We are able to provide this support through the stewardship of your philanthropic dollars. We invite you to join us to make a difference in the health of our community.

Thank you for being part of the healing.
