Prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Damoui practiced family and emergency medicine in her home country. In 1996, she obtained a position as a research associate in Epidemiological Cardiology at the University of Southern California (USC); then followed that with a position in the Heart and Lung Center in Beverly Hills. After completing her United States internship and residency program she spent a year as the Medical Director for a Hospice program in Texas. In 2003, Dr. Damoui returned to California and her first love, Family Medicine.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and going shopping.

I always appreciate the efficiency of the Memorialcare providers and staff. My recent visit was for preop clearance. I had to be scheduled with Dr. Damoui, as my provider was on vacation and the clearance was time sensitive. The clearance took just a few minutes because she had reviewed all pertinent history and labs before my visit and the physical exam just took a few minutes. I appreciate that all the medical assistants promptly arranged the tests and the visit and kept in touch with me. The process was seamless.

My visit was awesome. I got to the parking lot. I don’t bother trying to park. Just use the free valet. My doctor was quick and efficient. I have most of my issues taken care of by a specialist. She actually listens and doesn't make you feel like an idiot for asking questions, which is my number one pet peeve of other doctors. There was some confusion with first appointment made for my first wellness welcome to Medicare visit. The receptionist at front office told me she did not see my name in the system for Medicare coverage until 2024 that I would not be eligible for my first wellness check until 2024. So I went home. I told her I would call back once I spoke with my insurance agent. One hour after leaving office a representative from Dr Damoui office called me to say it was an error on their end and I was eligible for my wellness check. They apologized for the error and inconvenience offered me an appointment later the same day. I rescheduled the following week. So the problem was rectified quickly and the following Monday morning appointment went smoothly without any problems. So mistakes happen that is understandable but all was good in the end. I would still highly recommend Dr Damoui.

Dr. Damoui responded immediately to my request and set up a virtual visit with me. I was leaving for vacation, driving to Oregon the next day and I developed a UTI. I wa able to get medication and only needed to postpone our start by a few hours the next day

She was very nice and explained things but she gave me meds that I can't take. The pharmacist wouldn't give them to me because of reaction it would have with one of my regular meds. I called and sent a message, sent one on my chart and pharmacist sent a message and we never heard back.
