About
Dr. Rachit Doshi earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Returning home to Southern California to complete his Family Medicine medical training at Long Beach Medical Center, he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Doshi’s medical philosophy is predicated on understanding the whole individual from a biopsychosocial perspective; his unyielding persistence in fostering long-term relationships that span the patients’ lifespan has consistently been on display throughout his decade in medicine.
Multilingual in Hindi and Gujarati, Dr. Doshi possesses an array of experiences ranging from treating chronic to more urgent medical conditions. Nevertheless, his priority remains to create awareness toward preventative health and improved quality of life through the development of a wholesome lifestyle. By nature, Dr. Doshi’s calm temperament combined with his medical knowledge create an environment of meaningful patient rapport; he is truly committed to understanding the driving force behind his patients’ choices and develops his treatment plans based on a full snapshot of his patients’ life.
As a member of the MemorialCare Medical Group since 2011, my approach fits seamlessly into the patient-centered healthcare that the group advocates. I enjoy building long term relationships with patients and getting to know them well. I have utilized evidence-based medicine and tracking tools to help ensure my patients are benefited by data-driven monitoring at numerous intervals, never allowing them to feel isolated with uncertainty.
When not in the office, Dr. Doshi relishes spending time with his son and wife. From traveling, tinkering with new technologies to being an aficionado of Angels baseball and cricket, Dr. Doshi lives out his innovative nature and innate curiosity in his daily life.

Best doctor i have ever had.I know doctor Doshi only as my primary care physician, however, visiting him feels like visiting an old friend. He’s the only doctor I have ever had where I felt they truly cared about my health and overall well being. I am very fortunate that Dr. Doshi has been my primary care physician for nine years. I was previously with another doctor at Memorialcare Medical Group who I loved and that doctor left Memorialcare to work elsewhere. I wasn't sure what to expect when I asked who I could be seen by after his departure and I was told Dr. Doshi. (My prior doctor was amazing and he is back at MCMG now in an executive management role.)I can honestly say that Dr. Doshi is the best doctor that I have ever had. He is personable, patient, kind, caring, knowledgeable, and an amazing listener. I never ever feel rushed. He is very thorough and I've never seen a doctor follow up with me so quickly (MyChart electronic system messages, medication and follow-up questions, test results, etc.). He genuinely cares about me and my well-being. My elderly father is in the process of looking for a different PCP at Memorialcare and I will recommend Dr. Doshi to him without reservation.Thank you, Doctor Doshi, for an amazing nine years so far and for all that you do. I don't remember all of their names, but the staff members at his office are amazing as well. Thank you, Priscilla and Olivia and everyone there!
