Kashyap H Trivedi, MD

Dr. Kashyap Trivedi is a board-certified gastroenterologist and co-owner of Comprehensive GI Care in Los Alamitos.

Dr. Trivedi graduated cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and medical school at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Olive View – UCLA Medical Center where he was awarded “Best Resident in Teaching” and served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor. He pursued his fellowship in gastroenterology at University of California, Irvine (UCI). Dr. Trivedi is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

Dr. Trivedi aims for a personalized approach to medicine and gastroenterology based on clinical experience, data and integrating complementary/natural approaches with western therapies. His clinical interests expand beyond gastroenterology and hepatology to include esophageal reflux, gastrointestinal motility, pelvic floor dysfunction, gut microbiota and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and irritable bowel syndrome.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Trivedi enjoys swimming, golfing, reading science fiction/fantasy novels, and cooking.
