Dr. Covarrubias chose the field of medicine because she enjoys the interaction and experience she receives taking care of her patients. She believes in medicine it is important to look to the future to maintain a healthy balance and that through dedication, everything is possible.
She looks forward to working together with her patients toward a common goal of wellbeing, learning from their experiences, and teaching them techniques to facilitate behavioral changes for a positive lifestyle.
Inside the office, Dr. Covarrubias' interests lie in preventive medicine, women's health, and gastroenterology. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and water and snow skiing.

It would be nice if anything goes off of an annual wellness visit that it’s brought to your attention before going down that path versus having people sign paperwork, upfront, and billing them for something they may not be expecting. No one, including the staff was even sure of what fell under a normal annual wellness visit. I’m hopeful everything that I did was under that. If not, I would’ve saved it for a later date.

For last 3 months was only on one of the meds because that’s what prescription said. My mom and I didn’t realize this until yesterday. So now she’ll finally be on both meds.
