Uta Guo, MD

Uta Guo, MD was inspired to study medicine because her family physician saved her mother’s life. She recalls learning that while preventative medicine may seem simple, its impact can be lasting and significant.

Dr. Guo believes that communication is a core duty of a physician. “I find great satisfaction in developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with my patients and the community,” she says. “I am committed to providing comprehensive and longitudinal medical care.”

“As a family physician, it is my duty to inform and advise my patients on the most up-to-date, evidence-based, age-appropriate care. It is also my responsibility to advocate for public health and combat the spread of misinformation.” 

Dr. Guo’s area of research interest focuses on patient safety and as well as the burden of electronic health records.

In her time away from the office, Dr. Guo enjoys landscape photography, cooking and architecture.
