Stephen A Rossi, PA-C

Stephen Rossi grew up in Carlsbad, California under the care of his grandmothers. “Medicine has been a part of my life since I was a child,” Stephen says. My grandmothers were under the care of their primary care physicians, prolonging not just their lives, but also their minds. That gave me more of the precious little time I had with them.”

Stephen loves teaching as well as learning. When it comes to patients, he wants to understand their health needs. 

“If you are the type of person who is afraid of asking questions, you can feel at ease with me. If you ask me a question, I will be happy to give you a correct answer and if I don't know it, I love finding out for you.” 

He believes in using motivational interviewing to help patients who may face discomfort making difficult, but very important changes in their lives, such as smoking cessation, tackling alcohol addiction, or losing weight. “My goal is to see my patients regain control of their health and their lives.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys podcast audiobooks, volunteering for the Special Olympics, pursuing the best cup of coffee and playing video games.
