Dr Chay Bae is a rheumatologist with MemorialCare Medical Group who specializes in general and complex rheumatological conditions. He cares for patients with conditions such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, IBD-associated arthritis, scleroderma, IgG4-related disease, and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies.

Dr Bae grew up in Southern California and in his free time enjoys spending time with family and friends. Some of his hobbies include being outdoors, trying new foods, and tasting different coffees from specialty roasters.

Doctor Chay Bae is articulate in his explanations and takes into consideration that most patients do not understand medical terminology. I left feeling he addressed My needs & did not generalize my symptoms but instead took time to get to know how I got to this point and provided great input to improve my current situation. Dr’s RN is great, thank you for making an effort to get my blood work done and thank you for the phlebotomist who was great, quickly found a vein and I didn’t feel a thing.
