Vy Kieu, DNP, studied at Brandman University in Irvine, California to become a nurse practitioner. She chose a career in medicine, specifically in primary care, because she enjoys helping and teaching her patients how to live a healthy and happy life, and having the opportunity to care for each patient through a long-term professional relationship.
Vy grew up in Southern California and is fluent in Vietnamese. Outside of medicine, Vy enjoys traveling, going to museums, attending concerts, and watching sports such as volleyball, baseball, and football.

Poor patient handling and communication skillsOur experience with Vy has been very poor, she hardly answered our queries until asked multiple times. A Painful injection was given to my wife but she was not helpful and communicative and was very rude and limited in interaction. I would not recommend her to any patient.

Not much bedside manner, isn’t interested in finding the root of a problem or spending a lot of time with patient. Very like this or that and then “Any questions?” - not very patient oriented.
