MemorialCare Saddleback Blood Donor Center hosts a monthly blood donor drive at Orange Coast Medical Center to help collect blood for their patients. We invite and encourage eligible donors to make an appointment to share the Gift of Life through blood donation.
How will your donation be used? Your blood may assist in saving the life of a trauma victim or help a heart transplant patient survive through surgery. Your blood might help a child with cancer whose red blood cells have been destroyed by chemotherapy, support a patient suffering from anemia, or assist a new mom or infant suffering blood loss after childbirth.
Will you support your families, friends, neighbors and community members by scheduling an appointment to donate blood today? The whole process from registration to post donation refreshment takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, but your donation lasts a lifetime.
Eligible donors can donate every 56 days. Donors must be in good health, well hydrated and feeling well, be 17 years or older, and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. For more questions about donation eligibility please call us at (949) 452-3158 or email Christie.
