Team Spirit raises funds for cancer support services at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center. Understanding that cancer affects more than just the body, the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute distinguishes itself by offering a variety of support programs to take care of the mind, body and spirit of cancer patients and their families, including:
- Peer mentors
- Support groups for a variety of age groups and cancer types
- Mind-body oncology coaching
- Yoga and Pilates classes
- Creative writing and art workshops
- Weekly walking group
- And more!
Because of your support through Team Spirit, these services are offered free of charge to anyone in the community regardless of where they’re receiving treatment.
