The Foundation entered a new era of philanthropy in early April with the appointment of Debbie Finster as vice president of the Foundation. With more than 30 years of experience, she will drive growth in high-impact philanthropic support from grateful patients and donors who want to make a difference.
She most recently served as chief revenue officer for Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach beginning in 2021. Her responsibilities included overseeing philanthropic, community and corporate initiatives along with marketing efforts for the organization’s $20M capital campaign.
Prior to that role, Debbie served as senior vice president of major gifts and legacy planning at Make-A-Wish Orange County & the Inland Empire, where she founded the chapter’s Women’s Circle of Wishes, an esteemed giving group recently honored at the 2025 National Philanthropy Day. Additionally, she has held positions at Chapman University and the University of California, Irvine.
